Matigol falls the hidden gems of North Cotabato

How to get there:

From Davao City take a bus via cagayan then drop off  at campo uno Arakan valley, estimated time of travel 2 hours, Along  the road you can hire a single motorcycle going to Brgy. Matigol it took 30 minutes of ride. Then  arrange for registration and guide, and start trekking, i think one and half hours of hike, before you will reach the refreshing cool water falls..

Expenses:

P85 pesos from davao city to campo uno, arakan valley, roundtrip P170 pesos,.. from campo uno proper, P80 pesos  round trip P160 pesos for motorcycle single. registration fee P25 pesos, guide fee its up to you how much you give..

Away from the fancy, expensive, crowded tourist spot, one of the many hidden waterfalls in north cotabato.

You can do what you want with complete privacy, something that we want to look for.

The stunning grassland going to  waterfalls is just quite amazing landscape.  

SICAO FALLS / TRES MARIAS

How to get there:
From Davao City ride a passenger jeep via  Calinan  or L300 van, it took 1hour, then from Calinan proper arrange or negotiate  a single motorcycle (Habal2x) , going to Tamayong District Brgy, Sicao, estimated time of travel 2 hours.

Expenses:
P45 pesos from davao city to calinan , roundtrip P90 pesos.
P150 per person, single motorcycle from calinan to tamayong brgy sicao, roundtrip 300,. registration fee, 100 pesos per person, going to sicao water falls and tres marias.

Located at Brgy. Sicao, Tamyong District Calinan Davao City, Approximate of 3 hours hiking, the trail is not going easy as you  thought, expect not your typical fun, sweet, cute day hike..:))
